It forms part a former Victorian Gentlemen's residence, built around 1875 from Lakeland stone. The Holiday Cottage sits on the main road between Windermere and Ambleside overlooking Wynlass Beck to the rear.

Situated just a 15 minute walk outside Windermere in the Lake District, Old Oak Holiday Cottage is the perfect base from which to explore the Lakes. Bowness on Windermere is only 1.5 miles away and Ambleside, 3 miles away.

Windermere village with its many shops, restaurants and pubs, is only a short stroll away.

The shores of Lake Windermere at Millerground are a short 10 minute walk away or alternatively climb 'Orrest Head' to see for yourselves the stunning views of Lake Windermere and the beautiful landscape of the Lake District.
